Privacy policy

chopped.run is a personal running log and training planner. This policy explains how we handle your information in plain terms.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored scrambled, never in the clear). We also keep your runs, including those recorded on a Garmin device: distance, time, pace, heart rate, route, and related fitness data. Anything you add yourself, such as training plans, notes on how a run felt, and chats with the coach, is kept too. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

Only to show you your own training: your calendar, charts, and plans. If you ask the coach for help, your recent training and messages are used to write a reply. We do not send marketing messages.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they only process data on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser remembers your light or dark preference. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can change your details, or disconnect your activity source on the account page, at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, or to ask for a copy of your data, email support@chopped.run.

Changes

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted here with a revised date. Questions? Email support@chopped.run.
